Our vision
To rekindle the spirit of Yoruba civilisation.
As a force for human progress, ethical leadership, creativity, communal advancement and democratic development.
A civic and cultural platform for shared progress
Rekindling the spirit of Yoruba civilisation through ethical leadership, cultural confidence, public service and collective action.
“No trueborn allows the homestead of their people to decay.”
Who we are
Omo Oduduwa Collective, also known as The Collective, is a gender-neutral, non-sectarian and non-partisan community committed to the flourishing of the Yoruba people and the progress of humanity.
We bring together public thinkers, professionals, advocates, elders and emerging leaders to turn shared values into constructive ideas, practical cooperation and principled civic action.
Our vision
As a force for human progress, ethical leadership, creativity, communal advancement and democratic development.
Our mission
Advancing civic engagement, cultural rebirth, economic cooperation and strategic action that uplifts the Yoruba people while strengthening Nigeria and humanity.
The future is not inherited automatically. It is built deliberately.
What we advance
Our work joins cultural confidence with practical development.
Expanding knowledge, scholarship and opportunity across generations.
Building cooperation, enterprise and widely shared prosperity.
Advocating safe communities, dignity and care for the vulnerable.
Preserving Yoruba language, history, arts and indigenous knowledge.
Creating space for young people to lead, build and reimagine.
Harnessing technology and new ideas in service of human progress.
Strengthening collaboration across Yorubaland, Nigeria and the global diaspora.
The Omoluabi standard
Our principles are not decoration. They shape our speech, our service, our leadership and our responsibility to one another.
We uphold honesty, humility, discipline, civility and accountability. Financial resources are managed transparently, and every member has a duty to speak truth against injustice and corruption.
Collective interest rises above ego and factionalism. We welcome vigorous debate while rejecting insults, bullying, division and the silencing of differing opinions.
We remain independent of political parties and pursue our objectives through lawful, peaceful and democratic means. Public engagement is guided by justice, development and good governance.
We honour Yoruba language and culture, respect the wisdom of elders, nurture youth leadership and assign responsibility on merit, competence, contribution and commitment.
We promote peaceful coexistence and mutual respect among all peoples. Hate, supremacy, discrimination, violence and reckless disclosure of sensitive internal matters have no place in The Collective.
From conviction to contribution
Our public engagements create room for serious ideas, principled advocacy and visible community value.
